Course summary

This 5 day course is designed to develop an understanding of how wellbeing and positive mental health impact on people’s emotional and intellectual growth (at all levels). Specifically, the course explores the Spanish approach of the schools as a ‘Comunidaded de aprendizaje -Leanring communities‘ and how schools use this to meet the needs of the children and their community. The course methodology encourages active participation, sharing of good practice and reflection of teaching methodologies applied in the classroom to improve the provision and the quality of childhood education in the participants’ own settings.

Cost: £1250 ( twin/shared accommodation)

The course includes:

  • 4 nights accommodation with breakfast in twin/shared rooms

  • Training and reflective sessions

  • Visits to local schools

  • 2 lunches and 2 evening meals as specified in the detailed programme.

NOTE: Travel to and from Spain is NOT included in the price above
